Vaccination Policy

Many vaccination protocols are beginning to change. You should consult with your veterinarian at least two weeks prior to visiting our facility about your pet’s yearly vaccination requirements.

Like most reputable pet care facilities, Mutterly Love requires proof of vaccination before your pet can stay at our facility. This is not only for the protection of your pet, but for the protection of the other pets in our care. Without proof of current vaccination, we will be unable to care for your pet. Mutterly Love is happy to provide services for your pet with proof of the following vaccinations:

Bordetella (for dogs only)

This vaccination adds additional protection against coughing viruses, they are given every six months to one year depending on your veterinarian’s recommendations.

Canine Distemper (for dogs only)

This is a combination vaccination. Depending on the combination your veterinarian uses, it may include some or all of the following: Distemper, Canine Hepatitis, Leptospirosis, Parainfluenza, Parvo Virus, and Corona Virus.

Rabies (both dogs and cats)

Rabies vaccinations for pets are required by law. They are usually first given between 4 and 6 months of age. Depending on state law, boosters may be given yearly and or every 3 years. Again, be sure to follow your veterinarian’s recommendation.

FVRCP (for cats only)

This is also a combination vaccination, container mostly upper respiratory diseases including Panleukopenia, Feline Biral Rhinotrachetis and Calici Pneumonitis

Your veterinarian’s office may fax your pet’s proof of vaccinations to (269) 978-9069 or email them to support@mutterlylovekennel.com.
